Tom immediately starts having sex with Wife while Husband is left alone. Husband repeatedly asks about Veronica, and each time Tom calls from Husband's phone, pretending to speak to her and saying she's on her way. Eventually, Tom finishes, angering Husband who accuses him of deception. Tom reacts aggressively, calls Veronica to cancel, and leaves, claiming Husband is rude. When Husband tries to call Veronica's number, he discovers it doesn't exist, realizing Tom was lying the entire time.
